Exercising because I know I should

Yesterday (Saturday) I went to the health club.

I did a 5 minute .25 mile warm up on the treadmill.  3 minutes or six flights (I’m not sure I believe that) of stairs on the StairMaster.  I did 25 more minutes on the treadmill for 1.07 miles.

It took me a little more than an hour.  That includes driving there and driving home but does not include getting dressed beforehand or getting cleaned up afterwards.

I hate exercising.  Let me say that again.  I HATE exercising.

I know I need to.

I know it’s good for me.

But I HATE it.

    Me too. But I’ve gained weight. not just muscle either. I try to do at least 1.5miles on the elliptical thingy. I work on the weight machines, various reps depending on what muscle group. Mostly my legs. 75 sit ups and round it out with a half mile on the treadmill. And I still gain!! at least 3 days a week… and I hate it.
