Random Thoughts

Random thoughts in no particular order. The Whole Foods store FINALLY opened up here.  I love, love, love it.  I’ve been there several times.  I’ve not actually bought anything while there though I’ve taken a lot of pictures and posted them to FB and sent them to friends who haven’t been yet.  If we had […]

A vampire of the dieting world

July 18th, 2011 · No Comments

The weekend was a dieting bust. Saturday it started with Dunkin Donuts donut holes and last night it ended with Pei Wei Pad Thai and Chicken Fried Rice. I did exercise on Friday and Saturday.  Though I don’t think I’ve been exercising enough.  I think 10 miles a week is the magic number and I’ve […]

God I love Weight Watchers!  No seriously.  It is true. I lost another 2.8 pounds last week.  Yahoo! So I’m down a total of 30.4 since I started the first of February and I think 17.4 pounds since I started WW in mid-March. I’ve been running outside.  Gasp!  I know!  It really isn’t as nice […]

Reflections

April 28th, 2011 · No Comments

Yesterday was weight in day at Weight Watchers.  I did not go with high expectations.  It had been a long holiday weekend  that included company, Easter egg Snickers, (best things evah! and 4 pluspoints) Hostess Powdered Sugar covered mini-donuts and two days of not working out. I lost 4.8 pounds! Damn people, I’ve lost 25.6 […]

Exercising because I know I should

November 14th, 2010 · 1 Comment

Yesterday (Saturday) I went to the health club. I did a 5 minute .25 mile warm up on the treadmill.  3 minutes or six flights (I’m not sure I believe that) of stairs on the StairMaster.  I did 25 more minutes on the treadmill for 1.07 miles. It took me a little more than an hour. […]

When do YOU Exercise?

April 15th, 2010 · 3 Comments

O.K. Internets. Tell me. When do YOU exercise?? I started working out in February with my personal trainer (egads you have no idea how much it makes me cringe to say that-I need to find a better word to describe her). I’ve been doing weight work on the machines. Oh every once in awhile she’d […]

A dilemma of earth shattering proportions

May 20th, 2009 · 2 Comments

When you go to the health club. And you have your car keys, drivers license, cell phone and liter bottle of water. Where do you put all that stuff when you go to the bathroom? I mean, am I the only one who struggles with this? I don’t like to take my purse to the […]

Blame it on a man

February 6th, 2008 · 5 Comments

Men are the most disgusting creatures. I went to work out tonight and there was a guy working out on the elliptical machine down from all the treadmills. He moved to one of the treadmills. He moved back to the elliptical machine. He did not. I’ll put that in capital letters for you. NOT. Clean […]
