BAM The Dirt is Gone!

October 2nd, 2006 · 2 Comments · Weirdness, What I'm Doing

I know I don’t write enough about my cleaning products. Probably cause I don’t clean enough.

I’ve told you how much I loved Mr. Clean and the Magic Eraser. And I told you how awesome I thought the rug cleaner was.

Now I’ve discovered something maybe as good but a lot more toxic.

EASY-OFF BAM®. It is advertised as a Multi-Purpose Cleaner For Tough Everyday Stains.

And it R.O.C.K.S. Damn! Something that does what it says it will do. I love it when that happens! And no, I didn’t get an e-mail from the Easy-Off people offering me a case of the stuff if I wrote good things about their product. Not that I would say no, if they offered me a case of the stuff. But in this case, I’m just excited about the product and not just a shill for Easy Off.

I cleaned my bathtub with it today. It got rid of the soap scum, it cleaned the bath mat. I usually have to get a tooth brush and the Comet to clean the bottom of the bathmat. It did it. I Squeezed it on. I rinsed off. Zip-O-Bam-O it was clean!

I did feel compelled to get my rubber gloves in order to wash the tub. I mean anything that says it will clean AND unclog drains. Me things I don’t want that on my bare skin.

But while I had the rubber gloves on, I also cleaned the toilet. And damn, it sparkled. Like something out of a television commercial.

And it really got rid of the mold. My bathtub has black yuckey stuff where the tub meets the tile. I’ve tried everything to get it out. I’ve tried plain bleach. I’ve tried Hydrogen Proxide. I’ve tried vinager and baking soda. Nothing was working on this stuff. I squeezed some of the BAM® on, and left it for five minutes, and when I came back it was clean. Not pretty mind you, but it wasn’t black anymore.

I love this stuff. And after I came home from the grocery store, and sat the stuff on the counter with the other “go upstairs stuff,” the BoyChild looked at and said, “Bam. And the dirt is gone.” And for a moment, I wondered if he could actually read that on the label. And I looked at the Husband and said, “how does he KNOW that” and the BoyChild looked at me and said, “I saw it on T.V.” I still don’t know if I believe him. I haven’t seen a commercial for it on TV.

And you know what all this says about me?

1) I have a really pathetic life when I’m excited about a cleaning product.

And

2) I probably got a little too close to those fumes when I was cleaning out the tub.

Ciao,

M&Co.

You are cracking me up! You could totally be one of those very convincing sales people at the home shows. “Just wait until you see what it does to the toilet!”

::ahem:: I’m going out and buying that “Easy Off BAM” stuff right after work!

Here’s to hoping you get a free case of it!
