On the quest for soft Snickerdoodles

January 23rd, 2010 · 2 Comments · Family Life

My family likes Snickerdoodles.

But no one really likes them when they’ve cooled off and are no longer soft.

If you’ve not had Snickerdoodles, they are a basic sort of cookie, rolled in cinnamon and sugar before baking.

I tried this recipe at the RecipeZaar.

They weren’t as hard as the recipe out of my Betty Crocker cook book, but they were still more crunchy that we’d like.

So.  Help me out here internets.  Anyone have a recipe for a soft Snickerdoodle cookie?

Put them in a tightly shut container with a piece of bread.

    (I love snickerdoodles too!)

There is a recipe on the Betty Crocker website using white cake mix that is very good. If I remember correctly the cookies stayed soft in a ziploc bag until they were gone.
